Team's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 11, 2023

Hi! We're Team SEArch4Hope, lead by Sophia, Emily, and Allison!!

We are so proud and honored to be participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student Visionaries of the Year program for 2023!! Our mission is to raise money for blood cancer research and to advocate for those who do not have access to these life-saving treatments. Help us spread our mission and reach our goal of $20,000!
We cant wait to get started and hope for your support! ❤️❤️

We each have our own personal connection to the heartbreaking effects of Cancer, driving us to make an impact with Team SEArch4Hope.

I, Sophia, am supporting this campaign because, before I was born, my grandpa died from Lymphoma. Because of this, I never got the chance to really know him or make those valuable childhood memories with him. I want to support LLS to help reduce the number of people who have to go through the same thing and even worse. I am also really passionate about medicinal research, and this is one way to help an amazing organization further their work helping blood cancer patients.

I, Emily, have a family friend got diagnosed and has been battling Leukemia, this past year. Treatment after treatment, I have
witnessed what a terrible impact this disease not only had on him, but family and friends. I have chosen to participate in
this campaign in hopes to prevent others from going through this and to save as many lives as possible. I wish to see less
people suffering everyday from Leukemia and Lymphoma.

I, Allison, saw a close family friend of mine was diagnosed with stage four Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma a few years ago. This hit
their family and our community very hard as she suddenly was unable to do anything, go anywhere, or meet with
anyone. This affected not only her, but her children and her family. It was very heartbreaking for us, and even
though she is still alive today (thanks to the efforts already put in through cancer research!), she still is not able to
see anyone outside her family for extended periods of time.

Meet Sophia, Emily, and Allison!!
